Dania Fishing Pier was rebuilt in 1995 and attracts after reopening under the new management and the restaurant Beach Watch a huge crowed of fishermen and spectators 24/7/365. The bridge extends out 987 ft in the ocean, offers benches, binoculars, cutting stations and a shade.
The bait shop sells all tackle and life bait, sodas, beer, hot dogs, chips, sundries, towels etc., all food from the restaurant plus full menu to go.
You can rent a rod, catch your own fish and bring it into the restaurant to be cooked and served. Your catch also can be photographed and printed on T-Shirt.
Like no where else in South Florida.
